Warranty Coverage

Custom X Bodyboards warrants all boards and accessories against defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

What Is Covered

  • Delamination of the deck or slick skin not caused by impact or improper use
  • Structural defects in the core (e.g., cracking, splitting under normal use)
  • Manufacturing defects in fins, leashes, and hardware

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage from normal wear and tear
  • Impact damage (rocks, reefs, fins, etc.)
  • Damage from improper storage (prolonged sun/heat exposure)
  • Cosmetic damage (dings, scratches, discoloration)
  • Boards that have been modified or repaired by a third party
  • Damage resulting from use outside of intended conditions

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Email staff@customx.com with the subject line "Warranty Claim"
  2. Include your order number, a description of the defect, and clear photos
  3. Our team will respond within 3–5 business days with next steps

Resolution Options

At our discretion, we will repair, replace, or issue store credit for any item confirmed to have a manufacturing defect.

Limitation of Liability

Custom X Bodyboards' liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.

2. All Products Contained on this website

We make every effort to display our products accurately. However, we do not guarantee that product descriptions or other content are error-free. If you receive a product that is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

3. Pricing & Availability

Prices are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

4. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products.

5. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Oceanside, CA 92058 ( North San Diego County), without regard to conflict of law principles.

 Return & Refund Policy

Return Period:
You may return unused, unopened items within 15 business days from the date of delivery for a refund.

Return Conditions:

  • Items must be in new, unused condition with all original tags, packaging, and accessories.
  • Returns initiated after 15 business days will not be accepted.

Restocking Fee:
A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund total to cover inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs.

Return Shipping:
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrect due to our error.

Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom boards 
  • Clearance or final sale items or flash sale items
  • Used or damaged items not due to our error

 Shipping Policy

Processing Time:
Orders are typically processed within 5-7  business days. Processing times may vary during peak seasons.

Shipping Methods:
We ship via most major carries. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

Shipping Rates:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on location, size, and weight of the order.

Delivery Time:
Standard delivery times are 3-7 business days within the U.S., and 7-21 business days for international orders, depending on location. Delivery times only apply after production is complete and the item is ready to ship.

Lost or Damaged Shipments:
If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery. Claims may require photographic evidence.

International Shipping:
International customers are responsible for any customs, duties, or import taxes imposed by their country.
